Texas Instruments‘ TPS563300 is an easy-to-use, high-efficiency synchronous buck converter with a wide input voltage range of 3.8V to 28V and supports up to 3A continuous output current and 0.8V to 22V output voltage.

Texas Instruments‘ synchronous buck converter TPS563300 uses a fixed frequency peak current control mode for fast transient response and excellent line and load regulation. The device features optimized internal loop compensation, so no external compensation components are required over a wide output voltage and operating frequency range. Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) mode greatly improves light load efficiency. The low quiescent current feature benefits extended battery life during low power operation. The device also has a spread spectrum function, which helps reduce EMI noise.

The TPS563300 provides comprehensive protection including OTP, OVP, UVLO, cycle-by-cycle overcurrent limit, and discontinuous mode UVP.
