1. PN544 and PN65O series

PN544 complies with the latest NFC specifications formulated by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), and can provide mobile phone manufacturers and mobile operators with a fully compatible platform for launching next-generation NFC devices and services. PN544 is fully compatible with all currently released NFC specifications for SIM cards and human-computer interfaces (Human-ComputerInteraction; HCI) connected through the Single Wire Protocol (SingleWireProtocol; SWP). In addition, NXP works closely with leading SIM card manufacturers such as Gemalto, Oberthur Technologies, and Giesecke & Devrient to ensure the interoperability of SWP interfaces including MIFARE technology.

PN65O is PN544 plus NXP‘s SMARTMX security module, PN544 and PN65O hardware pins are fully compatible. PN65O/PN544 provides a variety of host interface options to ensure that mobile phone manufacturers can easily integrate the required functions.

2. PN547 and PN65T series

PN547C2 is the latest generation of NFC chip that supports the latest NCI standard protocol. The performance of PN547 surpasses all current NFC wireless controllers. Compared with PN544, its radio frequency range is doubled, wireless data throughput is increased by five times, and the package size and power consumption are both reduced by half. PN547 has excellent global interoperability, compatible with all contactless readers and NFC tags, and will provide a new user experience in the near future. In addition, NXP‘s next-generation mobile payment solution supports various applications. It is not only fully compatible with the MIFARE series of technologies (including Classic1K, Classic4K, DESFire, Plus), but can also implement NFC extended applications such as handheld mobile POS machines and mobile ticketing. PN547 fully supports MIFARE used in more than 70% of contactless transportation systems worldwide. In addition, the excellent design of PN547 not only improves RF performance, but also easily obtains EMVCo and NFC Forum certifications with a smaller antenna and lower material cost.

PN65T has built-in SE and PN547C2 (BGA), and the hardware pins are fully compatible. The software is successfully integrated into the latest Android version KitKat4.4.
