The unique combination of the ARM® Cortex®-M0+ core and the ultra-low power features of the STM32 MCU makes the STM32 L0 MCU ideal for battery-powered or powered applications from energy harvesting.
The STM32 L0 microcontroller provides dynamic voltage scaling, ultra-low power clock oscillator, LCD interface, comparators, DAC and hardware encryption. New autonomous peripherals (including USART, I²C, touch-sensing controller) offload the ARM Cortex-M0+ core and reduce CPU wake-up times, thereby helping to reduce processing time and power consumption.
It also has built-in other value-added features, such as 16-bit ADC (hardware oversampling), USB without external crystal, short wake-up time in ultra-low-power mode, and communication peripherals that still work in low-power mode. The perfect balance between integrated features, high performance and ultra-low power consumption. STM32 L0 microcontrollers feature up to 64 KB Flash, 8 KB RAM, and up to 2 KB embedded EEPROM (no need for flash emulation) in 32- to 64-pin packages, including the space-saving WLCSP36.
