NXP Semiconductors‘ 5v 8-bit S08P series MCU series meets the electrical safety standard IEC60730, designed for users to be more durable and reliable in harsh industrial and user interface environments. The S08P series is very simple and offers excellent EFT/ESD performance. This scalable and pin-compatible MCU family reuses existing S08 core, IP and tools, facilitating migration from existing 8-bit S08 products. The S08P mcu also integrates key functions such as touch sensing interface (TSI), EEPROM and motor control flexible timers to simplify design and help reduce system cost.
The S08PB mcu provides the functionality of the S08P and adds features such as a 12-bit ADC, analog comparator, amplifier, I(2)C, and flexible timers to simplify design and help reduce system cost.
The S08PB16-EVK is a low-cost development hardware for the NXP S08PB and S08PLS 5v 8-bit MCUs. The board is small but powerful with a rich set of integrated peripherals to evaluate all the capabilities of the S08PB and S08PLS mcu. Provide free sample code for user reference.
