1. Description
The SN74CBTLV3257 is a 4-bit 1:2 high-speed FET multiplexer/demultiplexer. The low on-state resistance of the switch allows connections with minimal propagation delay.
Select (S) input to control data flow. When the output enable (>OE) input is high, the FET multiplexer/demultiplexer is disabled.
This device is fully specified as partial - use I off to shut down the application. The I off feature ensures that damaged currents do not flow back through the device when powered down. During power-down, the device is isolated.
To ensure a high-impedance state during power-up or power-down, OE should be tied to V CC through a pull-up resistor; the minimum value of the resistor is determined by the current sink capability of the driver.
