What is the difference between TI cc series chips?

Using TI CC series chips, it is often difficult to start with various models. Let‘s talk about the parameters and differences of each model. Many chips will play a better role in different fields.
1. CC1101/CC1100
The frequency is 433M. Of course, for China, CC1101 itself supports 300-348M, 387-467M, 779-928M. Subspecies support 400M and 2.4G. Hong Kong supports 900M.
CC1101 is an upgraded version of CC1100. The wireless part is optimized, the spurious response is improved, and the input is compatible with 1100 programs. It does not have an MCU itself, a pure wireless transmission chip, which uses SPI control. The working range- 40C to 80 degrees, this needs to be verified, and it is calculated by half, that is, -20C-70C should be no problem. It is an industrial-grade chip.
Another point to mention is that the power of CC1101 is 2DB higher than that of CC1100, reaching 12DBM. It is a chip that can transmit very far without PA at present, and the distance is about 200-300M. If it is too close, the input will be saturated. Could not receive any data.
The current is 14.7mA when receiving, 15mA when using 0dBM, and 30mA when using 12dBM. The receiving sensitivity is -113dBm, which refers to the environment of 1.2k rate.
The rate of CC1101 itself is adjustable between 1.2K-500K, and the modulation mode is FSK/GFSK/MSK/ASK/OOK.
2. CC1100E
Not introduced. The special frequency bands of 470M and 950M are used, and the others are the same as CC1101.
3. CC1110
This chip is actually equal to 8051+CC1100. Its integrated MCU is one of its major advantages. It has commonly used functions such as ADC, SPI, I2C, and UART.
The built-in FLASH is 8/16/32k optional. It is specially designed for low power consumption, and the power consumption can reach 0.3uA during deep sleep. The frequency range is the same as that of CC1100. The wireless performance is also the same as CC1100.
4. CC2510
It can be said that this is very close to CC1110, but the frequency used is different, using the frequency of 2.4G.
The kernel uses the enhanced 8051 kernel, 8-32K FLASH, 4K RAM.
However, the wireless part uses 0DBM power, and the distance is indeed relatively close. The distance is only 30-50M, and the single-shot distance is very long, but it is of little significance.
5. CC2430
In terms of hardware, 128KFLASH and 8K RAM are added to CC2510, but this is a chip that supports ZIGBEE protocol stack, which other chips can‘t do. The core of the chip will not be introduced except that FLASH and RAM are different, others are the same as CC1110 .
It supports the ZIGBEE2006 protocol stack, which was launched relatively early. The wireless aspect is limited to only 250K rate. Because of the 0DBM power, the distance is only 30-50M. It is an early product.
6. CC2530
TI‘s late-stage product, CC2430, which is the main push for TI‘s ZIGBEE, is no longer recommended.
2530 has made great improvements on the basis of 2430. First of all, the biggest improvement is the improvement of the ZIGBEE protocol stack. The entire protocol stack has been upgraded, and it has a good performance in terms of stability and reliability. The speed is still 250K, and the power is increased. As large as 4.5DBm, the transmission channel has also been modified, and the registers have been changed accordingly, so the ZIGBEE2006 protocol stack will not be used on the 2530.
The 2007 protocol stack has greatly improved networking, re-networking, data transmission, and the number of nodes. It can be said that the 2530 has its value not because of itself, but more because of the ZIGBEE protocol stack.
7. CC2520
A bit similar to the CC1100 pure hair chip, but it is a single chip that supports the ZIGBEE protocol stack. MSP430 writes the protocol stack + CC2520 as the sending, of course, the ZIGBEE protocol stack is easy to transplant, this is its biggest highlight.
