The MSP430 chip can realize the following six working modes:

(3) Low power consumption mode 1 (LPM1), that is, the central processing unit CPU stops working, the peripheral mode is working, ACLK and SMCLK are in an active state, and MCLK cannot control the loop;
(4) Low power consumption mode 2 (LPM2), that is, the central processing unit CPU stops working, the peripheral mode is working, ACLK is in an active state, and neither SMCLK nor MCLK can control the loop;
(5) Low power consumption mode 3 (LPM3), that is, the central processing unit CPU stops working, the peripheral mode is working, ACLK is active, and both SMCLK and MCLK cannot control the loop, and the digitally controlled oscillator is at the same time. The DC generator of the DCO is off;
(6) Low power consumption mode 4 (LPM4), that is, the central processing unit CPU stops working. If the system provides an external period, the peripheral mode is working. The ACLK signal is disabled and the crystal oscillator is stopped. SMCLK and MCLK can not control the loop, and the DC generator of the digitally controlled oscillator DCO is in a closed state.
