The Texas Instruments DLPC230-Q1 DLP Automotive DMD Controller is part of two DMD chipsets, the DLP5530-Q1 (internal display applications such as HUDs) and the DLP5531-Q1 (external lighting applications such as high-resolution headlamps). These chipsets include 0.55" DMD and TPS99000-Q1 system management and lighting controllers.

The TI DLPC230-Q1 DLP automotive DMD controller integrates an embedded processor with error code correction (SECDED ECC), allowing host control and real-time feedback, on-chip diagnostics and system monitoring capabilities. The need for external DRAM is eliminated by including on-chip SRAM. Through TPS99000-Q1, DLPC230-Q1 supports over 5000:1 high dynamic range dimming for HUD applications. The Sub-LVDS 600MHz DMD interface allows for high DMD refresh rates, producing seamless and brilliant digital images while reducing radiated emissions.
